Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 1, 2026

Les Pontons Armada inc. ("Armada", "we") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect on armadamarine.ca, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it and how to exercise your rights, in accordance with Québec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) and applicable Canadian law.

Contact this person with any question, access request or complaint about your personal information.

2. Information we collect and why

Information you give us

  • Contact form: name, email address, city and message, to answer your request.
  • Onyx launch alert: name, email address and phone number, to let you know when this model launches.
  • Dealer application: this form opens your own email program; we only receive what you choose to send us, to assess your application.
  • Email or phone: the information in your messages, to follow up on them.

To serve you well, we may forward your request (name, contact details and message) to the authorized Armada dealer nearest you, who may contact you about it. That dealer must use this information only to follow up on your request.

Information collected automatically

  • Audience measurement (only with your consent): we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, visit length, device and browser type, approximate city, and the site you came from (for example a search engine or an artificial intelligence assistant). We also measure certain actions such as sending a form or clicking through to the configurator. This data does not tell us your name. Google's advertising data sharing is turned off.
  • Technical logs: our server records technical data (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser) to keep the site secure and working. Our email system also records the email address entered in a form, for troubleshooting.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

Google Analytics audience-measurement cookies (_ga, _ga_*) are off by default and are only set if you click "Accept" in the banner shown on your first visit. They expire after 13 months. Your choice is stored in your browser and you can change it at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.

Until you accept, Google may receive anonymous signals, with no cookie or identifier, used only to estimate overall site traffic.

4. Third-party services used by the site

Some site features rely on outside providers. Your browser then communicates with them directly, which sends them your IP address among other things:

  • Google reCAPTCHA: protects forms against bots;
  • Google Fonts and content delivery networks (Google, BootstrapCDN, unpkg): fonts and libraries needed to display the site;
  • Google Maps: map of our factory on the Contact page;
  • YouTube: plays our videos;
  • Esri (ArcGIS): address search on the Dealers page (the address you type is sent to it to find the nearest dealers);
  • OpenStreetMap: base map on the Dealers page;
  • Microsoft 365: delivers and stores the emails sent by our forms;
  • Hosting: the site is hosted on a server located in Victoriaville, Quebec, Canada.

These providers handle this data under their own privacy policies. Links to other sites, including our configurator, our US site and our dealers' sites, are governed by those sites' policies.

5. Sharing and transfers outside Québec

We never sell or rent your personal information. We only share it with our authorized dealers (to follow up on your request, as described in section 2) and with the providers listed above, to the extent needed for the purposes described, or when required by law.

Some of these providers (including Google, Microsoft and Esri) may process or store information outside Québec, including in the United States. Before such a transfer, we assess whether the information will be adequately protected, as the law requires.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your personal information for as long as needed for the purposes it was collected for: answering your request, following up with you or your dealer, and maintaining our business relationship, subject to any retention periods required by law. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months.

When this information is no longer needed, it is destroyed or anonymized. You can also ask us to delete it at any time (see section 8).

7. Security

The site is served over HTTPS only (encrypted connection). Access to the information we receive is limited to the employees who need it to handle your request. Since no method is perfectly secure, we will notify you and the Commission d'accès à l'information of any confidentiality incident that presents a risk of serious harm, as the law requires.

8. Your rights

At any time, you may:

  • ask to access the personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous;
  • withdraw your consent, including to audience-measurement cookies;
  • ask that your information stop being disseminated or be deleted, in the cases provided by law;
  • receive the information you gave us in a structured, commonly used technological format.

Send your request in writing to the person in charge named in section 1. We will answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

9. Minors

The site is not intended for people under 14, and we do not knowingly collect information about them without the consent of a parent or guardian.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page; if we make a significant change, we will say so clearly on the site.
